In recent years Nick has assisted in the financing of beverage companies like Rebbl, Spindrift, Vital Proteins, Koia, Owl’s Brew and GEM&BOLT. He has overseen the acquisitions of RXBar by Kellogg, Chameleon Cold Brew by Nestle, Sir Kensington’s by Unilever, Siggi’s by Lactalis, Yucatan Foods to Landec, a majority stake in Terrafertil by Nestle, and a minority stake by Coke in BodyArmor. The firm is currently working on multiple sales transactions in the hundreds of millions of dollars with other food and beverage clients.

Ryan Lewendon is a Partner at Giannuzzi Lewendon, a premier boutique law firm that focuses on the representation of privately-held, high-growth consumer products companies. Prior to joining Giannuzzi Lewendon in 2011, Ryan was an associate at Donovan & Giannuzzi LLP.

Since 2007, Ryan has focused his practice on helping innovative consumer products entrepreneurs grow their companies by navigating both the day-to-day hurdles and the tent-pole obstacles and opportunities a consumer products company must navigate on its way towards an acquisition.

Ryan has assisted hundreds of companies structure and negotiate their distributor, broker and supplier relationships, employee incentive programs and advisory networks, and celebrity/influencer endorsements and promotional partnerships.

Ryan has advised clients through financing transactions at every stage of their growth cycle – from angel investments to rounds with institutional investors. He has recently assisted clients in exit transactions with acquirers such as Coke, Pepsi, General Mills, Boulder Brands, Group Danone, Bacardi, General Mills and others.

Ryan grew up in Hamden, Connecticut. He received a M.S in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Tulane University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Society’s Sports Law team. When he isn’t busy helping bring emerging brands to the mainstream, he is an avid runner, reader and raconteur. He resides in Manhattan, New York.

Anthony Iuzzolino is a partner at Giannuzzi Lewendon and has been with the firm from its inception in 2011.  Anthony focuses his practice on advising companies (large and small) on various transactional and contract-based matters.

Anthony helps companies navigate the many decisions they face during their lifecycle so that they can successfully grow – often with an eye toward a strategic exit.  In this role, he advises companies on items such as entity selection, corporate governance and compliance, stakeholder and founder rights and debt and equity fundraising.  In addition, Anthony has extensive experience advising companies on supply chain and operational matters, and he has successfully negotiated hundreds of formulation, supply, manufacturing, co-packing and distribution agreements.

Since his time working with Glacéau (creator of vitaminwater and smartwater), Anthony has assisted companies with endorsement and sponsorship deals involving celebrities, athletes and influencers along with some of the most recognizable sports teams in the world.  He has negotiated complex partnerships with large, multinational retailers, and he has worked on numerous strategic transactions, both in the U.S. and abroad, several of which have served as benchmarks in the consumer products industry: Happy Family in its sale to Danone, Vita Coco in its partnership with Reignwood (parent company of Red Bull China), Krave in its sale to Hershey, KeVita in its sale to Pepsi and Terrafertil (parent company of Nature’s Heart) in its sale to Nestlé – just to name a few.

Anthony also has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, where he served as outside general counsel to The ONE Group – proprietor of numerous restaurants and nightclubs, including the worldwide chain of steakhouses known as STK.  In this capacity, he successfully negotiated countless leases and management agreements for some of the most sought-after properties in the country along with handling all aspects of The ONE Group’s day to day legal needs.

Prior to joining Giannuzzi Lewendon, Anthony worked at Donovan & Giannuzzi, LLP.  He received his Bachelor of Science from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where he was awarded a full academic scholarship to study engineering.  (Interestingly, this institution was founded by Peter Cooper, inventor of Jell-O.  Quite the coincidence, since many of his clients are food and beverage entrepreneurs.)  From there, he went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, while also studying abroad in Beijing, China.

During his time away from the office, Anthony enjoys reading (he just finished up Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson) and boxing – quite a one-two combination.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Daniella Carelli always knew she would go back to her roots after attending high school in Florida. After her sunshine state hiatus, she graduated with a B.S. from New York University where she majored in journalism, psychology and minored in law.

Prior to joining the Giannuzzi Lewendon as an attorney, Daniella received a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, graduating with a certificate in intellectual property. During law school, she worked as a full-time paralegal at various law firms and fashion brand legal departments.

A true foodie, Daniella currently resides in Brooklyn and spends her free time baking artisanal pastries and sketching.

Chase MacLeod received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property, Media, and Information Law and served as Associate Managing Editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial, & Commercial Law. He now serves as an attorney at Giannuzzi Lewendon.

Chase grew up just outside of Philadelphia and earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Temple University.

Chase currently lives in Brooklyn Heights. In his free time, he hangs out at Prospect Park, reads novels on the Promenade, and enjoys discovering Brooklyn neighborhoods with his girlfriend. Despite the move to New York, he is still a proud supporter of Philadelphia sports and culture.

Stephanie was born and raised just outside of New York City in suburban New Jersey. Before joining Giannuzzi Lewendon as an attorney, Stephanie attended Fordham University where she received both her B.A. in International Political Economy and her J.D.

In law school she competed in the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court, held a board position in Fordham’s Dispute Resolution Society, served as a Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham International Law Journal, and was a member of Fordham’s Moot Court.

A New Jersey native raised in South Florida, Harrison Kay always knew he would make his way back north to New York City. Harrison attended the North Broward Preparatory School in Florida before continuing on to the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and spent his spare time on the airwaves of WashU’s student-run radio station.

Before joining Giannuzzi Lewendon as an attorney, Harrison earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he represented early-stage startups in Fordham’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Harrison lives on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and enjoys running, stand-up comedy, and making progress on his NYC restaurant list.

Ama was born and raised in Odenton, MD, a small town not too far from Baltimore, MD. Before joining Giannuzzi Lewendon as an associate, Ama attended The Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and in Criminology. She earned her J.D from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society and served on the Executive Board for the Black Law Students Association.

In her spare time, Ama enjoys shopping for the latest sneakers, traveling, and attending basketball games (Go Wizards!).

Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Apriele attended Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations and was a founding member and first president of the Black Ivy Pre-Law Society. Continuing her Cornell education, she received her J.D. from Cornell Law School where she was the president of the Black Law Students Association.

In her spare time, Apriele enjoys mentoring pre-law and law students and visiting new wineries throughout New York. She is also an avid supporter and sponsor of Compassion International.

Born in Tel Aviv and growing up in Scottsdale, Noa graduated with a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara where she double majored in sociology and history. Not ready to leave the west coast sun just yet, Noa received her J.D. from UC Hastings Law in San Francisco. During law school, Noa worked as a legal intern at a health and wellness direct to consumer start up in the heart of San Francisco.

In her spare time, Noa enjoys posting up at Central Park with a good book, exploring the culture and museums the city has to offer, and checking off restaurants on her NYC restaurant bucket list.

Mendel grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal and a participant in Bet Tzedek Civil Litigation Clinic and Prosecutor Practicum. Prior to joining Giannuzzi Lewendon, Mendel worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Economic Crimes Bureau of the Bronx District Attorney’s Office and as an associate attorney for a litigation boutique in New York City.

Mendel received his Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, in Political Science from Yeshiva University, with a minor in Business. On the weekends, you’ll find Mendel cooking his way through various cuisines and running along the paths of Central Park.

Stephen Self earned his B.A., cum laude, in Government & International Politics from George Mason University. He went on to earn his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, he interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Enforcement and was a recipient of the Archibald M. Murray Public Service Award. He also worked in Fordham’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, representing early-stage startup companies on entity formation, contract, and general corporate law matters.

Stephen is a native of Richmond, Virginia, but has since made his way to Brooklyn. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys live music and playing volleyball on any court he can find.

Born and raised in The Bronx, Jennifer is a CUNY alum and studied Business Management. Prior to joining Giannuzzi Lewendon, Jennifer has had several years of dynamic Administrative, Management and HR roles. Jennifer is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, which led to her previously managing and cultivating Employee Resource Groups across states.

True to her roots, she is a lover of New York sports teams, for better or worse, let’s go Giants, Knicks and Yankees!

Mackenzie has a background in administrative work with seven years of experience across law and hospitality. As the Office Manager at Giannuzzi Lewendon, she provides essential support to the attorneys and partners of the firm. Mackenzie attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama. In her spare time, she enjoys international travel and the exploration of different cultures and cuisines. She is also a nature lover and participates in outdoor activities such as hiking and camping as much as possible.
